Decor AI Privacy Policy
1. Overview & Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to Dwellia (referred to hereinafter as “the App”), an intelligent AI interior design application available for global users on the Apple App Store, covering users in the United States, European Union countries and other international regions.
The App is dedicated to providing users with intelligent home renovation and space redesign services. By uploading real indoor room photos, users can obtain professional AI-based interior decoration schemes and 3D rendering effects. The App features zero registration and no mandatory login, allowing all core design functions to be used instantly after installation. This policy is formulated in strict compliance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines, EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other regional privacy laws, aiming to fully disclose our data processing rules and protect users’ legitimate privacy rights and interests.
2. Types of Data Processed
We strictly abide by the industry principles of data minimization and purpose limitation. We only process data necessary to deliver the App’s core services, and will not actively collect any user sensitive personal privacy data. The data processed by Decor AI is divided into the following two categories:
2.1 User Initiated Uploaded Image Data
To trigger the App’s intelligent space recognition and decoration rendering functions, users may voluntarily upload photos of indoor spaces. Such image data is only used for identifying room layout, spatial structure and original decoration style, so as to match corresponding design styles and generate personalized renovation effect pictures.
During the AI processing period, the App will not actively identify, extract or store any accidental personal sensitive information contained in the uploaded images, including facial features, personal private items, detailed residential addresses and other confidential content.
2.2 Automatically Collected Anonymous Device Data
To guarantee the stable operation of the App, optimize the adaptation effect of AI rendering on different iOS devices, solve system compatibility problems, and provide standardized in-app advertising services, we will automatically collect anonymous and non-identifiable device and system information when users use the App. This data cannot locate or identify any individual user, including:
- Device hardware information: iOS device model, anonymous device identifier (IDFV).
- System running information: mobile operating system version, system default display language, device screen resolution.
- General geographic information: only country and regional scope, without precise GPS positioning data and specific city location information.
2.3 Data Not Collected
We hereby clearly declare that the App will never collect users’ account registration information, mobile phone numbers, email addresses, identity certification documents, precise geographic location, payment information, address book data, full album access authority, biometric recognition information and other sensitive personal data that are not specified in this policy.
3. Data Processing Purposes
All user data processing behaviors are based on users’ independent authorization and legitimate service needs, and are only limited to the following explicit purposes, without any illegal expansion or unauthorized use:
- Deliver Core Intelligent Design Services: The indoor photos uploaded by users are transmitted to the professional AI algorithm system in real time, used for spatial structure analysis, decoration style matching and virtual rendering generation, so as to complete the core home design service of the App.
- Maintain App Operational Stability: Anonymous device data is used to adapt different device models and system versions, repair program crashes, functional errors and compatibility bugs, and ensure the smooth operation of the App.
- Optimize Product Experience: Conduct aggregated and anonymous statistical analysis of user usage behaviors, continuously optimize AI design accuracy and product functions, and upgrade overall user service experience.
- Provide Standardized In-App Advertising: Anonymous device data assists third-party advertising platforms in launching non-personalized generalized advertisements, supporting the free operation, maintenance and iterative update of the App.
4. Third-Party Service Cooperation & Data Sharing Rules
To ensure the professionalism and efficiency of intelligent design services, the App adopts standardized third-party technical services, and all cooperative institutions have passed strict compliance verification. In accordance with Apple’s latest AI data disclosure specifications, we fully disclose all third-party data processing behaviors:
4.1 AI Technology Support Service
The core image recognition, style conversion and 3D rendering technology of the App is supported by professional third-party AI computing service providers. Only after users actively upload images and confirm authorization will the photo data be transmitted to the AI service interface for real-time computing and rendering processing.
We have signed strict confidentiality and data compliance agreements with all AI service partners. All user uploaded images are only used for the current single design rendering task, and will not be applied to AI model training, data resource library construction, commercial analysis and other irrelevant purposes. Temporary image data will be automatically cleared after the service is completed.
4.2 Third-Party Advertising Service
The App integrates compliant third-party advertising SDKs. Advertising service providers can only obtain anonymous device data, which is used for normal advertising display, anti-fraud verification and industry macro data statistics. Under no circumstances will users’ uploaded photos and personal information be shared with advertising partners.
4.3 No Unauthorized Data Disclosure
We will not sell, rent, trade or actively disclose any user data processed by the App to irrelevant third-party organizations and individuals, unless otherwise required by national laws, judicial procedures and official regulatory mandatory provisions.
5. Data Retention & Security Protection Mechanism
5.1 Data Storage and Retention Rules
User uploaded indoor photos belong to real-time task data. The App and its cooperative AI service parties will not permanently store users’ original images and generated rendering files on cloud servers. All temporary image data will be automatically deleted after the completion of the design task and the user exits the service page.
Anonymous device operation data is only cached locally during the user’s use of the App. After the user closes the App or uninstalls the software, all cached data will be completely cleared without any persistent server-side storage.
5.2 Data Security Protection Measures
We adopt industry-standard end-to-end encryption technology for all data transmission processes, and establish perfect technical and management systems such as access permission control and data security monitoring. We strictly restrict the data operation authority of internal personnel and third-party partners, effectively preventing unauthorized access, data leakage, tampering and loss, and fully protecting user data security.
6. User Legal Privacy Rights
In accordance with GDPR, CCPA and other global mainstream privacy protection laws, users enjoy complete and enforceable data rights during the use of the App:
- Right to Know: Users have the right to clearly know the type, processing purpose and sharing scope of their data processed by the App.
- Right of Consent Management: Users can freely authorize or refuse AI image processing and data transmission services, and can withdraw relevant authorization at any time.
- Right to Data Deletion: Users can clear local App cache data by themselves or apply to us for deleting anonymous usage data generated during use.
- Right to Opt Out of Ads: Users can turn off App data tracking and advertising push permissions through iOS system privacy settings.
- Right of Complaint: If users believe that our data processing behaviors violate privacy laws, they have the right to file a complaint with local data protection regulatory authorities.
7. Apple Platform Compliance Statement
The App fully complies with Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework specifications applicable to iOS 14.5 and above. The App does not carry out cross-application and cross-device user tracking behaviors. All data collection, AI data transmission and third-party sharing behaviors fully meet Apple App Store review standards and international AI data compliance requirements.
This App is oriented to adult users. We do not knowingly collect any personal information of minors under 13 years old, and fully comply with global children’s privacy protection regulations.
8. Policy Update and Revision
We reserve the right to update and revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to product function iteration, service adjustment, third-party service upgrade and changes in legal regulatory requirements. The latest revised policy will be published within the App, with the update date marked. Users’ continued use of the App after the policy update shall be deemed as recognition and acceptance of the latest policy terms.
